Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Navigate Your Cargo (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and the Safety Manager Course (the “Service”).
Information we collect
- Information you provide: name, email, account credentials, and — when you purchase — billing details processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).
- Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, and usage activity, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use it
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service and your account.
- To process payments and provide support.
- To communicate with you about your account, updates, and (with your consent) marketing you can opt out of at any time.
- To protect the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with law.
We rely on one or more legal bases to process your data: your consent, performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests, and compliance with legal obligations.
Sharing
We share data with service providers who help us run the Service (such as hosting, payment processing, and analytics), and when required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies & tracking
We use essential and analytics cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. Because there is no industry-standard for handling browser “Do Not Track” signals, we do not currently respond to them; you can control cookies through your browser and our consent banner.
Your rights
- EEA/UK (GDPR): access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sharing,” and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
- To exercise any right, contact us (below). We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
Data retention & security
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children
The Service is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
International transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
